Chapter 96 - New Evolution! Level III Blood Core Rank!
-----
Noah\'s mind kept being showered with knowledge and insights about these new Skills courtesy of the Blood Core, as he learned the power of Crimson Aegis!
The other Skills were just as good, such as Blood Storage.
[Blood Storage (B)]
The Power to Stockpile Blood by large amounts.
Alongside this, you acquire the ability to transform your own blood into dimensional storage limited by the rank of the Skill on its size.
Vampiric beings and Blood Servants can be stored as well, however, energy will be drained from your body to feed their life.
…
Blood Storage gave Noah the power to stockpile even more ridicule amounts of Blood within his body to consume, use for calories, and more, alongside giving his own blood the power to store things inside!
Indeed, this power seemed completely broken, as Noah had the power to use his own blood like some kind of Dimensional Storage!
However, it was now limited to just a few slots, but it could improve as he increased the Rank of the Skill.
Alongside this, the Skill description specified that he would be capable of storing Vampiric beings and Blood Servants inside (as the only living beings that he could store)!
With this, he could even carry his entire party within this dimensional storage on his very blood, and surprise his enemies as he brought an army to attack them!
However, the other Skill that supplemented Blood Storage in the best way possible was the Blood Servant Skill…
This Skill was…
It simply left Noah baffled by the possibilities it could have.
[Blood Servant (B)]
As the Blood Progenitor Descendant, you have an unfathomable power over Blood and Lifeblood, giving you the power to summon a living being\'s soul through their blood.
This Skill grants you the ability to summon a Blood Servant from any living being that you have killed as long as it possessed any blood, of course.
By concentrating its blood quality and fusing it with the residual soul, the Blood Servant, whose appearance, and power will be similar to the original self, will be born.
Your current max amount of Blood Servants is determined by your Skill Rank, currently, you can only have up to 30.
Blood Servants will grow by themselves by defeating enemies and absorbing their souls or blood, increasing their own Ranks, and achieving new levels of power and abilities.
To conjure this Skill effect, simply let a drop of your blood fall into the required corpse while reciting the words \'Rise\'.
The user has 3 chances to rise a Blood Servant, after these three chances are spent and the Blood Servant is not generated, the user will not be able to rise the desired corpse.
Until the three chances are used, the monster\'s corpses will remain in existence for 24 hours before turning into black smoke and dropped items.
Corpses (No Monsters from Dungeons) that have been dead for over 24 hours cannot be transformed into Blood Servants.
…
With this… Noah had the potential to build an army of loyal servants, alongside his already existing subordinates who could become their generals!
Did he even need to recruit any more people now if he had such power?
"With this Ability… I can rise soldiers made of blood from anything I have killed? I need to try this out immediately… No… I have to calm down… Not now… Not yet… Perhaps in a Dungeon later," sighed Noah, calming down his own excitement as he checked the last Skill.
[Blood Contract (B)]
As the descendant of the Blood Progenitor, your power over blood is supreme, and you can manipulate the blood of someone weakened to control them through a contract.
Through Blood Contract, you can generate a Contract with someone\'s Blood, forcing these people to do certain tasks or comply with a certain order or deal.
This Contract can be either made by both sides accepting or can be forcefully made if the target is completely weakened and cannot fight back nor resist.
However, sleeping targets will resist, as they can quickly wake up.
Even completely unconscious targets might not work, as such a contract forces their minds to wake up immediately.
…
With this Skill, Noah could literally set contracts with other people, things that both sides needed to agree in doing.
Perhaps keeping a secret, or not betray the other side.
As long as there was this contract set, it would not be easily violated.
And even if the target tried to violate it, they would receive the pain of all their blood turning into needles and grinding into their own flesh.
However, the same could happen to Noah, as this Contract affected both sides.
But even then, Noah now had the power to do amazing deals with others… or even forcefully enslave enemies.
"With this… my power over others increases… Yet, I doubt I can even affect anyone above my Rank. Hence, I must grow stronger…" thought Noah, as he was surprised by some strange and sudden System Notification Windows.
Ding!
[You have completed the [Level: II] of the Blood Progenitor Skill Tree!]
[You have unlocked the [Level: III] of the Blood Progenitor Skill Tree!]
"Oh? Level III? How many Levels does this Skill Tree process? Well, it keeps improving as I advance in strength, so perhaps new Skills are simply generated whenever I max out the previous one…" thought Noah, as new System notification windows greeted his sight once more.
Ding!
[Conditions for [Evolution] have been achieved!]
[Conditions: Reach 300 in every Attribute Value and unlock all of the [Level: II] of the Blood Progenitor Skill Tree completed!]
[Do you wish to evolve into [Level III: Noble-Born Vampire Viscount]?]
[>YES NO]
"Another… Evolution? So soon? But it seems that the Evolution matches the level of my Skill Tree. Hmph… But what will happen with other Skill Trees? Or perhaps only this Skill Tree, as the main one, will be connected to my evolutions? I wonder… Well, I still do not have any other Skill Tree, and these skills are good for now… Should I evolve now?" wondered Noah.
Noah thought that they might fall unconscious and do not attend school again…
Which was certainly not something he desired to not awaken suspiciousness.
However, he remembered that he did not fall unconscious for too long before… And perhaps using his soul, he could suppress such an effect now that it had evolved…
"Well, I shouldn\'t even doubt…" thought Noah, as he selected the \'Yes\' option after telling everyone that he was about to evolve.
Flash!
His Blood Core suddenly flashed with crimson light, as Noah was enveloped by a crimson aura, forming a cocoon around him!
"Ngh…!"
And then, Noah felt as if he was… melting!
An excruciating, monstrous pain!
It was literally as if he were melting!
His skin was melting, his flesh, his muscles, his blood vessels even his bones were falling apart and melting!
The pain was immense!
However, by using his Immortal Body, he kept regenerating and regenerating, his body reformed itself countless times over!
"The evolution to Level III is this harsh?!" thought Noah, as the Blood Progenitor\'s mind emerged.
"That\'s because this evolution is where you reform your entire body and remove any impurities within! Last time your body was still formerly human… but now, you will be completely remade as Vampire…" said the Blood Progenitor.
"That\'s… Ungh…!" cried Noah within the blood cocoon, as he ended up losing his consciousness at some point within the evolution.
Noah found himself in a strange space after that.
A dark place…
Completely filled with blackness.
"Wait… This place again…"
Noah glanced at his surroundings, as he finally found it, the Ancient One once more opened its single crimson eyes, and glanced at him.
"You again…!" said Noah.
The Ancient One glared at Noah as it squinted its eyes as if judging his soul.
However, it quickly stopped looking at him.
"Not enough…" it said.
"What? What do you mean?" asked Noah.
"Your strength… Is not enough." It said again.
"Why? For what? …Wait, do you mean… wielding your power?" asked Noah.
"Wielding me? …It could be said like that. You, as a vessel, is not enough," said the Ancient One.
"Wait, don\'t go away! How stronger do I need to be to wield your power?" asked Noah.
"…Strong enough to sustain my power…" it said, as Noah\'s dream quickly fragmented into pieces, his crimson eyes opened as he glanced at the ceiling.
"…How long did I sleep?" he asked Iris at his side.
"Ah! Noah, you\'re back! Oh… Only twenty minutes," said Iris.
"Good… Let\'s go now," said Noah.
"Wait, you\'re not sharing how strong you got?" asked Arthur.
"We can talk that through Telepathy, let\'s hurry," said Noah, as several System Windows greeted his sight once more.
"I can already feel it though… His power has once more increased… and it seems… as if Noah had been born anew?" said Timassa.
"Anew?" asked Arthur.
