Chapter 146 - The Many Sectors Of The World
-----
After Noah absorbed the Skill Points, he felt a new surge of power flowing through his entire body, it was almost exhilarating.
He slowly calmed himself down, as it was finally time to spend these Skill Points, which were not even earned by him but by the servants he had created.
If he were to make his Blood Servants and Robots strong enough, he even began to imagine that he could one day send them to A-Rank or higher Dungeons, to bring him even more things!
It has only been around two weeks since Noah became a Vampire, but he was already reaching new heights in power and more!
Assimilating the power of an ancient and evil Vampire was indeed a big gamble, but it worked and he was now completely changing and defying his own fate, while also bringing people that he cared for to his side.
However, although there are many allies, there are also many enemies and dangers lurking within this society.
Noah had already suspected that the Golden Guardians Guild might try something, as he had learned a bunch of information that the Crystal Knight Guild held, one of such things, which Granite has told to him through telepathy was that the Golden Guardians Guild would usually get rid of those that raised in enough strength that has not joined a guild yet!
Especially those of C-Rank and above, forcing them to either join his guild or die.
However, all of the A-Rank Hunters within the Guild were currently dealing with A-Rank Dungeon Gates within another Sector, and would not come back here for at least a bit less than a month.
Noah had already reached B-Rank, thinking that he could at least take things slowly, but he was terribly wrong, as more dangers began to lurk, with a sharp knife reaching his neck…
B-Rank was respected and famous, but could still be killed, he was by no means invincible.
He needed to reach A-Rank as soon as possible within this month, alongside all of his subordinates if possible, even more, if he could grasp S-Rank it would be even better…
But there was an issue with B-Rank Dungeons and above.
There were no such Dungeons around.
Indeed, from B-Rank and above, dungeons became impossible to have their boss chambers sealed, and the monsters lurking inside would grow on intelligence exponentially. Most of the time, such monsters would immediately lurk outside of their gates and attack anything on sight, unlike lower-ranked monsters that kept themselves inside the dungeon for way longer.
Due to this, it was impossible to keep B-Rank and above Dungeons open around cities, and the only ones that were somehow being contained and used for resources were owned by enormous, multi-sector Guilds or organizations such as the Heavenly Templars or Axis Corporations.
And such dungeons were kept privately and incredibly guarded, often lying in the middle of wastelands, where Noah and his group could not access as easily, and even if they were to go there, they would have to infiltrate over an immense facility where B-Rank and above Hunters alongside advanced magic machines would probably kill them.
Due to this, from B-Rank and above, Hunters had to wait for Dungeon Gates to emerge spontaneously, and such things often happened every two weeks or more… depending on the location and how much miasma is concentrated in such areas.
Noah knew that Sector C harbored an A-Rank Dungeon that is still being cleaned, and there is also a B-Rank Dungeon that had emerged a week ago, but he and his party would have to travel all the way to another Sector, several kilometers away, to reach it.
It was like traveling to another country…
However, Noah had already considered it… But, Fernand\'s brother and a few other S-Rank Hunters were in Sector C, alongside the Golden Guardians S-Rank Hunters… if they were to know that he went there, probably the Golden Guardians might chase and kill him, obeying their guild master\'s orders…
Due to this, Noah felt like he could not be so rash.
The closest Sector that was not Sector C was Sector B, which was literally in South America, an even larger distance…
All around Earth, Sectors became the new "countries" although they could also be considered a single super-advanced city that has its own independent government from the other Sectors.
Noah lives in Sector D, which is within the area that was once the United States, in North America, which has now become a barren wasteland. To the north, there is Sector C, where there was once Canada and Alaska, and to the south, in South America, there is Sector B, in the middle of South American, where several Hispanic countries once existed.
There was also Sector A, located in Europe, where England once was, Sector F is located near the territory that was once Germany, while Sector E is where Russia once was…
There are also two Asian Sectors, Sector G where formerly china was, and then Sector H where Japan once was…
Lastly, there is Sector I that covers all of Africa, other large countries, or continents such as Australia are devoid of people and filled with subhumans and mutated beasts, such place have been explored by very powerful Hunters or robots, and are said to harbor hundreds of Dungeon Gates, making them an immense land of monsters and insanity…
And that is without considering other places such as the oceans themselves, filled with enormous creatures no less than A-Rank in strength… it is also said that many Dungeons unexplored to anyone lay under the sea.
The world was vast, mysterious, and dangerous, so Noah needed to get any kind of power he could get for now…
For now, he concentrated on the present at hand and decided to max out the branch of his Skill Tree, while waiting for an opportunity such as a B-Rank Dungeon Gate emerging, and if not, he would have to prepare to travel to Sector A.
Although Noah did not felt like crossing such a big distance, there were ways to do it, such as using flying ships and other types of magic technology vehicles.
As he thought more about it, Noah considered that simply running away from Sector D would also put him no longer within the Golden Guardian\'s sight, which could also be beneficial… But by going to another Sector as a completely different guild might also make new problems arise.
It was rather well-known that Sectors would often not welcome other Sectors Guilds unless they had large quantities of achievements, a lot of strong members, and perhaps people above A-Rank.
However, it would still be better, perhaps, as Noah and his subordinates would finally be given the chance to enter a B-Rank Dungeon if nothing emerges in the next couple of days.
Alongside this, Noah was using Fernand as of now, telling him to tell his big brother to send him various resources such as Healing Items, Accessories, Weapons, and a lot of credits.
The backing of an S-Rank was no joke, and Noah was willing to use it to his utmost advantage.
Although his brother could not send Attribute Value Cores, there could be other interesting items…
Noah considered all of this as he decided to glance at his Skill Tree Branch once and for all.
