Chapter 241 Training Ground (Part 2)
In the past, whenever he bought a new item, he was required to wait until his next match to test his skills as a means of preventing damage to the environment. If only he had access to a dedicated training ground from the beginning, where he could continuously practice and experiment with his item skills and combinations, it would have greatly facilitated his progress.
In fact, he could even create the next item set more easily here, where there is no time limit, and test out all of the skills and their various combinations, as opposed to the matches, where he would only have three hours to do so.
\'\'Since you are a member of this family and an item holder, you have full access to this training ground. Feel free to use it in any way you like. Additionally, there is no need for you to be concerned about causing damage because everything that you see here is made with at least C-Rank materials. \'\' Galen explained as he started to give him a tour of the training grounds.
\'\'Also, the white walls that take up all of the space you see are covered with scales from the well-known for its defense white-scaly worm that my grandfather specifically found himself from a C-Rank inheritance. Because of this, there is no need to be cautious when trying a new skill, as it is very difficult to cause damage to these walls, even for a B-Rank item holder. \'\' Galen bragged proudly.
Raydon cast another cautious glance towards the white walls, which, to him, appeared to be made of smooth stones. \'Seeing mob parts being put to good use in ways other than item crafting is very smart. \'
\'\'He must have had to kill quite a few of these white-scaly worms in order to find sufficient material to cover this entire space,\'\' Raydon said after calculating the size of this enormous underground training ground.
"No, no. I\'m certain that the chances of my grandfather being able to defeat even one of them would have been extremely slim, let alone two," Galen chuckled, dismissing the idea and continuing, "All of this material comes from just one worm, and it was already dead when our grandfather found it, so he didn\'t even have to fight it himself. Although I cannot say for certain, I believe that it was placed there as a reward for the inheritance. \'\'
\'Does all of this material originate from just one? \' When Raydon heard it, he thought with a touch of surprise in his mind.
In light of the fact that all of these walls are covered in the same material, this worm ought to have been even larger than the blue giant that Raydon fought in the previous inheritance, despite the fact that it was only a C-Rank mob.
In addition, Raydon was aware that his grandfather was a B-Rank, but he came to a new understanding when he witnessed Galen confidently stating that he couldn\'t possibly be able to kill this C-Rank worm by himself.
\'I suppose it\'s not just for item holders that the difference in power-up increases as rank increases. I\'m curious how strong the D-Rank region boss will be in the E-Rank match.\'
As Raydon reflected on the growing power gaps that came with advancing ranks, he couldn\'t help but wonder about the power level of the D-Rank region boss. And as he considered the formidable opponents that awaited him in the higher ranks, curiosity increased in his mind.
"I thought there were a lot of item holders that serve the family but this place looks pretty deserted." As Raydon continued to look around but didn\'t notice anyone else in the area, he posed the question.
\'\'Because the training for each rank is at different times of the day. At this time, the training area is restricted access to only E-Rank item holders. The only people you can see right now should be the battle maids. \'\' Galen said.
When Raydon first heard this explanation, he believed it to be perfectly reasonable. Even though there was no possibility of accidentally damaging the surroundings while training because all of the materials around were of high durability, there was still a possibility of accidentally injuring or even killing other item holders of a lower rank than them.
\'Oh, you\'re in luck! It seems like one of them is training her movement technique at the moment," Galen remarked, chuckling at the sound he heard in the distance. Intrigued, Raydon hurriedly followed Galen as he headed towards the source of the voice.
"Movement technique? If I recall correctly, that was considered a mid-tier technique within the Demugen family, \' Raydon thought to himself. He was eager to witness and compare the power of his own techniques with those in this world.
After a short while, they made their way forward, and a vast field of dirt came into Raydon\'s view. At the center of this area, a woman caught his attention as she effortlessly evaded stones that were being shot at her from all directions, employing precise and subtle body movements.
\'She is a battle maid huh? \' Raydon thought, looking at this woman.
It was the very first time he had ever seen a battle maid dressed in anything other than the special maid uniform they wore.
\'Oh, I\'ve also seen one completely naked,\' he thought to himself, recalling his previous encounter with Belicia.
Raydon reclaimed his attention after a brief diversion and started to observe her. She seemed to be adorned in a second skin, for her workout attire was impeccably tailored, tracing the contours of her body with exquisite precision. The fabric embraced her curves, accentuating the subtle sway of her hips, the graceful arch of her legs, and the gentle curve of her waist. Her lustrous blond locks radiated with brilliance, meticulously styled and gathered in an artful bun atop her head, further enhancing the allure of her graceful features.
The mesmerizing beauty that emanated from her form had the power to captivate anyone who cast their gaze upon her. However, Raydon\'s attention was not currently focused on the captivating allure she exuded at this very moment. Instead, he focused on the remarkable technique she employed to avoid the stones that suddenly materialized around her and sped towards her with alarming velocity.
