Chapter 887 - The Fall Of The Spirit God
However, the beast was different. Not only he fused it perfectly, but four of the elements were stronger than his elements.
It was clear who was in the advantage.
Even so, Alex only gritted his teeth and channeled everything into his spear.
Unlike the previous six colors, there was an additional red and black this time, symbolizing his Divine Intent.
This eight-colored attack flew out of his spear, meeting the six elements fusion, creating a rainbow explosion that brightened the area. It was far bigger than the sun in their surroundings.
When he saw they were canceling each other\'s attack, Alex immediately flew to the side and waved his sword without anything special, releasing the black and red sword wave.
"This…" The beast was stunned as he recognized the identity of the black and red sword wave. This was exactly the energy from the two consciousness to the point they sacrificed their life to release this attack.
Because they had been clashing with Alex and taking his energy this whole time, their strength was that of a God King.
In other words, for this short moment, Alex\'s strength was equal to three God Kings, giving him a huge opportunity to defeat the beast.
Not wanting to let this slip by, the beast dodged the attack and appeared right before him, throwing a punch at him.
"!!!"
Alex blocked the punch with his weapons, but it still pushed him away… far away to the point he hit one of the planets. His speed was far too high to the point it defied gravity and denied the existence of the atmosphere on that planet.
The beast looked at his fist and noticed it was bleeding. It was obviously from Alex\'s weapons.
\'He is dangerous!\' The beast thought and flew toward Alex, trying to kill him.
However, Alex jumped to outer space once again and struck him with his spear. He found out that the claw was covered by the fusion of six elements while his spear only had that black and white energy.
The beast smirked as he thought he had won. And it turned out he was right. The spear blade was shattered, but Alex didn\'t give up there.
He shifted his body and directed the spear to the side, so the beast would hit the planet instead.
"!!!"
*Bam!*
As he predicted, the beast struck the planet, creating a huge crater that was visible from outer space. It was so huge to the point it covered half of the planet.
However, due to the last attack, the beast didn\'t realize the reason why Alex used his spear earlier. When he turned around to jump out of the planet again, he found that Alex had pulled his sword with eight energies spinning around his sword.
"!!!" The beast felt danger from that and leaped to the side, albeit it was too late.
"One Sword Kill! Blade of Extinction!"
The single cut brightened the entire planet. And within a single blink of an eye, the planet was split into two. The entire planet was cut to two!
The planet itself was smaller than Earth, a bit closer to a dwarf planet instead. Still, it was something amazing to cut the world itself.
And the beast was feeling it right now as Alex just cut both of his right wings.
"Die!" He didn\'t stop there and chased this big \'devil\', thinking this would be the perfect time to gain the advantage.
The beast used this opportunity to move away from the planet before aiming both hands toward Alex, who ended up getting inside the planet again.
"Gehenna Ray!" The six elements fusion had finally completed as the beast released its full power.
"!!!" Alex opened his eyes wide and raised both hands to use his sword to block this, but he was immediately pinned to the ground, unable to escape.
"Kh!" Alex gritted his teeth until it bled, but it still couldn\'t help him to escape. With the hard decision, he leaped to the side and sacrificed his left hand to stop this attack while he escaped.
*Boom!*
A huge hole appeared on the two half-planets that Alex cut earlier as the attack penetrated both of them.
Alex charged at him again with only one hand, and the two started fighting like this for a few more hours.
Unfortunately, no matter how Alex tried, he still couldn\'t best the beast. His energy gradually became empty. The beast was not much better, but he obviously had the advantage here.
"It is futile. You won\'t be able to defeat me. Let me praise you for fighting me this long. I have even used all the reserves in the seal of my body completely just to kill a single person. You are indeed the closest being to reach the next step, but unfortunately, you need to die here!"
"I won\'t die here!" Alex shouted as he channeled his energy to the sword again but failed.
"Look at your condition, you can barely utilize your energy. Within a few minutes, I will kill you!" The beast snorted, looking at Alex\'s tattered body.
Alex gritted his teeth as he couldn\'t let himself down like this. The two consciousness seemed to feel the same as him as they channeled the last bit of their strength to the point they would be weakened for thousands of years due to this.
He raised his sword and released his feelings and couldn\'t help but smile. "To think that the worst enemies in my body will become my biggest allies in this battle. I don\'t know how to thank you guys…"
The two consciousness released a little bit of their energy as if they were saying, \'Kill him in this last strike. We will resume our fight thousands of years later.\'
"Yeah, you are right." Alex smiled. The black and red energy sparked, releasing all their power. The six elements gathered again as the elementless, and this energy kept them intact for one last attack.
Alex\'s determination astounded him, but he immediately reacted by covering his paw with the element\'s fusion.
"One Sword Kill! Condemning Blade of Extinction!"
"Gehenna Gauntlet."
Both of them leaped at the same time and struck each other at the same time before passing each other.
The clash created a huge shockwave that could be felt from one thousand light-years away.
A huge sword wound appeared on the beast\'s chest as blood flowed out and floated in the space. If it were a bit deeper, he might be the one to die.
Unfortunately, Alex had no strength left to do that. His sword cracked before it shattered. The pieces floated in outer space.
"I am not done!" Alex roared. He took out another sword and turned around, ready to deepen the wound to kill that beast, but the latter was one step ahead of him. He had been in front of him when he turned away and pierced Alex\'s chest, crushing a portion of his heart.
"Gah!" Alex spat a mouthful of blood as the beast knocked the sword away. "Just die. It is over!"
"To think… Father-in-law is right… I will meet my end here. Luckily, the others are not here." Alex stuttered as he looked at the beast with fuzzy eyes. His hair was still white, but his right eyes had returned to normal. The sword and spear symbols under his eyes were nowhere to be seen.
They had exhausted all their energy, so they fell into slumber. Alex didn\'t even have Divine Energy anymore to keep fighting.
His Spirit Crown that was hovering and channeling its power was half-broken, barely maintaining itself with the last bit of its energy.
"You are a strong opponent." Even though the beast killed him, he respected Alex\'s strength and his resolve. In this battle, he learned Alex\'s personality and determination. "You are truly worthy to know my name. Remember this name in the afterlife, I am Orthus. I shall remember your name as well, Spirit God, Alexander Sirius!"
"Heh… Do you think this is the end?" Alex stretched his hand toward the beast as if he wanted to attack him.
"Stop your useless struggle." The beast snorted, paying no heed to Alex\'s hand.
"We are going to postpone this battle." Alex smiled as a metallic emblem appeared on his hand. There were two important parts of this relic. The symbol of an hourglass and a tower. They carried green energy and pink energy respectively, as Alex activated this artifact.
The Spirit Crown shone brightly, using the last bit of its energy. Alex smiled and channeled the energy to the relic. "Upgrade!"
Although Alex said upgrade, it was more like releasing the relic latent ability.
"This is the special relic created by the Time God and Dungeon God themselves, even if it meant sacrificing their lifespan and a huge portion of their power. You won\'t be able to escape from this place." He smiled and activated the relic.
"Wha—!" The beast was taken aback. He thought Alex had no more trump cards, but it turned out he was wrong. "You bastard! You know you can\'t beat me from the start and decide to use your life to seal me."
"You are too strong. Even if I use this artifact from the start, I won\'t be able to trap you. I need to wear you down until you are slow enough to react to something like this." Alex smiled as Space and Time energy started enveloping them.
"Noooo!!! This seal can only stop me for a period of time. As soon as I figure it out, I will break free from this seal and destroy this entire galaxy!"
"Yeah. At that time, I will stop you again." Alex smiled as he pulled out from the beast\'s hand. The hole in his chest was too huge for him to recover, and his heart was almost crushed.
However, seeing the energy started trapping the beast made him happy.
"I have lived by the sword and contributed to the building of an era. Moreover, to be able to die in order to protect my loved ones just as I desired… And in my final days, I was even able to set up everything for the next era. I have no regrets left… At last, I go to where my fallen friends, father-in-law, comrades await…"
His eyes were blurry as he started hallucinating. Besides him were an old man with long white hair tied on the back and a middle-aged man with a tower symbol under his right eyes. Both of them were smiling at him as if telling him, \'Good job. We are proud of you.\'
Alex smiled as he muttered his last words. \'Xingzhi, Anna, Anya… I love you… forever love you… Take care of me in the future, okay?\'
